‘Where there is law, there is order!’. This was the name of the project aimed at preventing deviant behaviour among adolescents through the development of respect for the law and civic values.
More than 1200 pupils, including pupils with special educational needs, and about 60 teachers took part in the project, which was implemented on the basis of the lyceum ‘Gaudeamus’ in Chişinău.
The main activities included interactive classes, excursions, a competition ‘Law as a gift’ and a conference to showcase school works.
300 information brochures on the rights and duties of young people were also published.
The project was supported by a number of public and private organisations, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Justice of Moldova.
The project team now plans to expand its educational initiative to the municipal level.
