More than 150 people submitted their projects to Eduthon in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine.
The topics of the projects are diverse: involving young people in decision-making processes, working with vulnerable groups, developing women’s initiatives, increasing people’s participation in the life of local communities, etc.
For participation in each of the Eduthons 10-12 teams are selected, which during 3 days with the help of a team of experts will be able to finalise the concepts of their projects, plan their promotion, methodologically prepare educational and other activities.
At the end of each Eduthon, 3 winners will be selected and will receive financial support to implement their projects in their communities (September-October 2024).
These teams will organise at least 18 events in their countries (trainings, film screenings, art actions, quizzes, discussions, etc.).
The EENCE-Eduthon-2024 is organised by the Eastern European Association for Citizenship Education with the support of the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) at the expense of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Expanding Cooperation with Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries (Eastern Partnership Programme).
